in the days during my visit to flagstaff, az, my good buddy amy orr and her foster dog, shortie have been the stars in my storybook. amy and i have shared heart stories, burned calories doing capoeira, shared thai food and a bunk bed. shortie and i have taken many walks, realizing that cats aren't scary and statues of pigs aren't vicious. a lot of life has transpired with companions nearby.
